1. Passport: one original passport with blank visa page and one copy of passport photo information page valid for more than 6 months.　　

1、护照：有效期为6个月以上、有空白签证页的护照原件及护照照片资料页复印件1份。

2. Visa application form and photos: 1 visa application form of the people’s Republic of China and 1 recent color passport photo with bareheaded light background pasted on the application form.　

2、签证申请表及照片：1份《中华人民共和国签证申请表》及1张粘贴在申请表上的近期正面免冠浅色背景彩色护照照片。

3. Certificate of legal stay or residence (for those who do not apply for a visa in the country of nationality): if you do not apply for a visa in the country of nationality, you need to provide the original and copy of the valid certificate of legal stay, residence, work, study or valid visa in the country where you are located.　

3、合法停留或居留证明（适用于不在国籍国申请签证者）：如您不在国籍国申请签证，您需提供在所在国合法停留、居留、工作、学习的有效证明或有效签证的原件和复印件。

4. Original Chinese passport or original Chinese visa (applicable to those who have Chinese nationality and then joined foreign nationality): if you are applying for a Chinese visa for the first time, you must provide the original Chinese passport and a copy of the passport photo information page; if you have obtained a Chinese visa and apply for a visa with a new foreign passport, you must provide the original foreign passport photo information page and the copy of the Chinese visa you have obtained（ If the name of the new passport is inconsistent with that of the original passport, the certificate of change of name issued by the relevant authorities shall also be provided).

4、原中国护照或原中国签证（适用于曾有中国国籍，后加入外国国籍者）：如您系首次申请中国签证，须提供原中国护照原件及护照照片资料页复印件；如您曾获中国签证并持新换发的外国护照申请签证，须提供原外国护照照片资料页及曾获得的中国签证复印件（如果新护照所记载的姓名与原护照不一致，还须提供有关官方出具的更改姓名的证明文件）。

(1) The employment permit for foreigners issued by the human resources and social security department; if the working period does not exceed 90 days, the certificate of short-term work for foreigners in China shall also be provided, and the applicant shall apply for a visa before the starting date indicated in the certificate of short-term work for foreigners in China, and the working time shall not exceed that indicated in the certificate of short-term work for foreigners in China Deadline;

(1)人力资源和社会保障部门签发的《外国人就业许可证书》；工作期限不超过90日的，还需提供《外国人在中国短期工作证明》，且申请人须在《外国人在中国短期工作证明》上注明的起始日期前申请签证，工作时间不能超过《外国人在中国短期工作证明》所注期限；

(2) Work permit for foreign experts to come to China or work permit notice for foreigners issued by Foreign Experts Bureau;

(2)外国专家局签发的《外国专家来华工作许可证》或《外国人工作许可通知》；

(3) Registration certificate of Permanent Representative Office of foreign (regional) enterprises issued by the administrative department for Industry and commerce;

(4) The approval document for commercial artistic performance issued by the competent cultural administrative department (only applicable to applicants who come to China for commercial performance); if the performance period does not exceed 90 days, the applicant shall also provide the certificate of short term work of foreigners in China, and the applicant shall apply for a visa before the starting date indicated in the certificate of short term work of foreigners in China, and the performance time shall not exceed The time limit specified in the certificate of short term work of Chinese people in China;

(4) 文化行政主管部门签发的营业性文艺演出批件（只适用于来华进行营业性演出的申请人）；演出期限不超过90日的，还需提供《外国人在中国短期工作证明》，且申请人须在《外国人在中国短期工作证明》上注明的起始日期前申请签证，演出时间不能超过《外国人在中国短期工作证明》所注期限；

(5) Letter of invitation for foreigners to engage in offshore oil operations in the people’s Republic of China issued by CNOOC;

(5) 中国海洋石油总公司签发的《外国人在中华人民共和国从事海上石油作业邀请信》；

【please note】 within 30 days after entering China, the holder shall apply to the exit Entry Administration of the public security organ of the local people’s government at or above the county level in the place where he intends to stay for a residence certificate, except for the residence period of 30 days and the visa marked \”the working time shall not exceed the period stated in the work certificate\”.

【请注意】持证人入境中国后须在30日内向拟居留地县级以上地方人民政府公安机关出入境管理机构申请办理居留证件，但停留期为30日且签证上标注“工作时间不得超出工作证明所注期限”的除外。
