托福独立写作评分标准

新托福写作是考试的最后一部分，包含两道试题，一篇综合写作(Integrated writing)，需要20分钟完成；一篇“独立写作”，需在30分钟内完成。

看透新托福4大评分标准是高分关键，下面就让大丽老师为大家解读一下“独立写作”的几个评分标准。

1. Effectively addresses the writing topic and task.

托福写作要求考生有效地阐明主题，考生千万不要跑题。一般来说，考生全部跑题现象较少，但是局部跑题现象十分严重，这也是考生不能轻取高分的缘故。

Eg:

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: In order to understand truly world events, TV news is better than newspaper news.

有学生同意电视新闻好因为(1)电视新闻有声音和图片，因此更吸引人；(2)电视新闻受众范围广，包括不识字或者视力弱的老人。

仔细审题不难发现，以上这些内容跑题的点在于没有论述到题目的前半部分"in order to understand truly world events."

2. Well organized and well developed, using clearly appropriate explanation, exemplification.

这里强调文章论证的展开，需要提供大量细节和例子来支持观点，而非中国式假大空的说理。这里举个通俗的例子："小明很健康"这句话就是比较抽象的，而“健康”可以用更具体的细节“精力充沛、免疫力强，很少感冒得病，不肥胖……”来说明。

3. Displays unity, progression, and coherence.

这里要求文章要统一、渐进、连贯。

统一是指文章的三个分论点要紧紧围绕总论点展开，而主体段的论证又要紧紧围绕分论点展开。

连贯是指段落与段落之间，句子与句子之间的衔接关系，文章整体框架的安排以及连词的使用上，所以考生要熟练掌握各种不同关系的连词的使用。

新托福议论文常用关系连词

递进：

in addition, besides, furthermore, moreover

让步：

although, though, even though, in spite of

因果：

for, because, as, since,due to, so, owing to, because of, therefore, consequently, as a result, hence, thus

对比：

by contrast, in contrast, on the contrary, on the other hand

类比： similarly, likewise

转折：

however, nevertheless, nonetheless

举例：

for instance, for example, to illustrate

4. Displays language facility by demonstrating syntactic variety, word choice and idiom.

这里指用词要准确、多样；句型要多样。

Eg：

more and more serious=increasingly serious

appealing=attractive

important=essential/crucial/critical/indispensable
